Finding members at A Women’s Place to network for business, social or personal reasons is easier because we’re developing online PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL profiles in addition to the form you filled in when you registered!
The “expanded” profiles have much more detailed information such as your GOALS, ACCOMPLISHMENTS, INTERESTS, NETWORKS and SKILLS. You’ll have a place to list organizations you belong to and community projects in which you are involved. And we encourage you to list your favorite charities so that we can add them to our list of non-profit organizations for support when that time comes.

FACE to FACE – More and more, the world moves virtually! The “kitchen table” around which our mothers and her friends found comfort and support now resides in cyberspace and the old familiar neighborhood has expanded to include, virtually, the whole planet! But women still like face to face gatherings! So we’ve made room for those as well.
Spa weekend retreats; a cruise to some exotic locale; and “kick-back” workshops for relaxing while learning are on the ‘drawing board’ for the future!
Soon we’ll launch the Affiliated Women In The MarketPlace™ (AWMP) all over the country, fulfilling the vision of A Women’s Place to be a resource for ‘chronologically maturing’ women ABSOLUTELY ENJOYING the 2nd half of the journey! |

SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT – The 2nd half of the journey is often when we discover an urgency to get in touch with our spiritual nature. Much of the wisdom we gain as ‘chronologically mature’ women over 40 or more comes because we begin to pay attention to this important aspect of who we are. Sometimes all it means is getting the encouragement of others and the empowerment we need to reach our goals and fulfill our destiny!
At A Women’s Place, our focus is on women who identify spiritually with the Christian tradition. We know that many women have been hurt by traditional religious institutions, yet have a maturing faith – and want more! Many of us at A Women’s Place have reached a level of mature Christian spirituality and are eager to share what we’ve learned so that those who want more – have that opportunity.
It’s not a ‘traditional’ or ‘denominational’ approach. We simply offer opportunities to learn and grow spiritually, using the BLOG, Perspectives section of the FORUM, JAVA CAFÉ, LIVE CHAT and WEBCAST events and will connect with you individually or in small groups!
