A Women’s Place uses today’s fabulous communication tools to “shrink the world down to size”!  As a member, you can Connect using your land line, cell or internet phone in the JAVA CAFÉ’.  Connect through the wonder of screen-sharing in our Yugma Webcast windows.  Or just LIVE CHAT with other members, safely from the comfort of your home, in your P J’s!   INFORMATION . . .not just data like you can find anywhere, but ‘stuff’ you can use every day! Much posted on the BLOG and FORUM comes from personal life experience and expertise!  It’s relevant to the 2nd half of the Journey.  We find information that you might not find on the web and bring it to the community.  INFORMATION includes books we recommend; articles; events and other items that cover a wide range of topics. “What’s A Life Entrepreneur”, you ask? “Life Entrepreneurs” are observers of the process most of us go through as we move from one life stage to another!  They are society’s artists, adventurers, poets, mystics & dreamers! They guide us as we go!  There’s a lot of them at A Women’s Place! BLOGGING is the hottest thing on the WEB! But we doubt anyone uses BLOGGING the way we do! We use the TOOL to entertain, inform, educate, coach & mentor, encourage, enrich & empower! It’s poetry & metaphor for some of life’s greatest lessons learned from the 1st half of the journey! It’s words of wisdom from ‘life entrepreneurs’ & skilled word smiths who know how to ‘turn a phrase’ into something that speaks to each woman’s heart & adds value to her days as she maneuvers through the 2nd half of the journey! “Many Messages” BLOG is new & fresh daily! COACHING & MENTORING . . . not the typical coaching one might expect, but friends helping friends discover what’s already there! The good ole-fashioned kind of caring wisdom that comes from friends, neighbors, co-workers at just the right time! Great coaching simply helps us discover what we already know! Sometimes we know it, but just need the encouragement of others to take the first step in a direction we really want to go.  We coach and mentor through the BLOG and JAVA CAFÉ events. LIVE CHAT in a secure chat room is a great place to gather with a few of your friends and fellow AWP members!  We used to call ‘coaches’ and ‘mentors’ by another name – special friends who care enough to tell us the truth in kind words.  That’s what you’ll find at A Women’s Place.
