What in the world does she mean? “Don’t Bolt!” Too often we discard something of considerable value because it doesn’t pay off immediately. I have to be very careful what & how I write this since yesterday had its ‘bittersweet’ moments. Fortuately more “sweet” than “bitter”!

Sounds strange doesn’t it?  Fear of success!  Why in the world would anyone be afraid to succeed at what we love to do?

It’s a real phenomenon.  In fact, some researchers say we have a greater fear of success than we do of failure! After all failure appears to be much easier to handle - practically and emotionally. Let me tell you, having more than one “business” to run is not easy! Especially when one is basically still a ’solo-entrepreneur’ with loads of help from my friends (thank God).

Can we be savvy business women & remain compassionate doing so? It’s a question I’ve heard asked many times. In fact, I’ve asked it myself.

The word “compassion” means to “feel with”. To feel with and for another who is experienceing joy or pain or sorrow. It’s not the same as “sympathy” and I’m sure we all know that.
